Mom's Dinner Rolls

As much as I would like to lay claim that these are my Mom's dinner rolls, they are not.  But that does not mean that I cannot make these and still call them Mom's dinner rolls.  I got the recipe for this from the For the Love of Cooking site.  Fresh bread from the oven is always a hit with our family, and this was no exception.  What appealed to me is how easy it was to make with the help of a bread machine.  I followed the recipe exactly except for variations due to my bread machine.  I also made the dinner rolls smaller as I know that what the kids prefer.

Ingredients:
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 egg (hold under warm water before breaking it)
3 1/4 cups bread flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons regular active dry yeast

Directions:
1)  Place all dough ingredients in the bread machine in the order as required by your bread machine.
2)  Select the dough cycle and press start.  The time will be dependent on your machine.
3)  Grease a cookie sheet
4)  Divide the dough into 15 pieces and shape each piece into a ball.
5)  Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.  Brush with butter and then cover.
6)  Let it rise in a warm place 30 to 40 minutes or until doubled in size.
7)  Preheat oven to 375F and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
