We eat fried rice frequently and I wanted a change. This Chana Puluo recipe on Honey, What's Cooking? looked delicious. My photo does not do it justice! Also I realized that one of the key differences was the rice. I used a long-grained rice that is sticky when cooked. I will need to change that the next time I try this recipe.

1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
3 dry red chillies (broken)
3 cloves
1/2 cinnamon stick
1/4 teaspoon tumeric
