I saw this video on You Tube of Gordon Ramsay demonstrating how to cook the perfect scrambled eggs breakfast awhile back. I came across it again and wanted to give it a try.
Gordon gave these tips:
1) Do not season eggs before they go into the pan. If you do, it will start breaking down the eggs before they go into the pan and make them watery.
2) Put the butter immediately with the cracked eggs.
3) Whisk the eggs using a spatula.
4) Start on nice generous heat and make sure to stir constantly. Take pan off 3 or 4 times to slow down the cooking. Be sure not to overcook.
5) Season with salt and pepper near the end.
After all that extra effort to make the scrambled eggs, I must say that it did taste much better. Will I always cook it this way.....probably not! I am just that not picky at least where eggs are concerned!
