I wanted to try making another Flognarde. My choice for fruits this time was blueberries. I expected blueberries to fare much better than strawberries as it does not let out as much moisture.
Blueberry Flognarde

Ingredients:
6 ounces blueberries
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
3 eggs
3 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 tablespoons sugar for topping
Directions:
1) Butter a shallow 2-quart dish. Spread blueberries around.
2) Preheat oven to 375F.
3) In a large bowl, add flour, 1/2 cup sugar, salt, milk, eggs, butter and vanilla. Whisk together.
4) Pour batter on over blueberries.
5) Bake for 30 minutes. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar over the top and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
6) Cool and serve.
