Bull's Eye

Bull's Eye!  This really hit the spot!  I call it Bull's Eye, but this is called by many other names such as Egg in a Basket, Bird's Nest and more directly Egg in a Toast.  I used a small cup to a hole in the middle.  You can also use a cookie cutter to cut other shapes including a heart.

Ingredients:
1 egg
1 slice of bread
butter
salt and pepper

Directions:
1)  Butter bread on both sides.
2)  Using a small cup or cookie cutter, cut a circle or some other shape in the center of the bread.
3)  Melt some butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.  Place the bread and the cut out hole in the skillet.  Once it is slightly toasted, flip over.
4)  Crack the egg into the hole of bread.  Season with salt and pepper.  Once the bottom of the egg has set, flip over to cook the top.  Don't leave too long it you like the yolk runny.
